REVIEW of The Exhibition

There are a lot of images in the exhibition an I spent 2Hrs going around the gallery. The images are very well presented easily accessed and large print guides for those who need them.

The images are split up into various sections which places genre type images together giving context and flow to the exhibit. There were images I had never seen and images I had always wanted to see such as the famous falling man image from 9/11. Due to the varied nature of the exhibition you will not like all the images on display or all of the subject matter depicted. This is however a varied and expansive body of work from some of the worlds leading photographers and as such it traverses many decades from the 50's to modern day.

This is well worth a visit and the V&A have done an excellent job in presenting the works. You can take photographs and the added bonus is that the V&A itself is an amazing photo opportunity, so remember your camera. In conclusion the show was well worth the effort and the entrance fee and personally i found it inspired me to go out and shoot more creatively and to take bigger risks.

Fragile Beauty: Photographs from the Sir Elton John and David Furnish Collection is a 9/10
