90% of the landscape shots we see are in colour - why do people not shoot Black and White Landscape Photography ? Black and White Landscape Photography looks amazing.
If you get a mountain side covered in pine trees it looks so good in black and white as it often enhances the subtle tonal differences in the trees creating a much more interesting shot. Also a sky can become more dramatic in black and white to offset against the landscape and again often making a more interesting image. You also have colour filters at you disposal if you go to black and white and so you can use these filters to elevate certain aspects of the landscape.
